I was happy to return to The Valley for my Master’s degree with a focus in social-emotional and behavioral wellness. The coursework enhanced my ability to take a more holistic approach with my early intervention students. By researching best practices in social-emotional learning, I was able to strengthen my connection with families and offer meaningful workshops and resources. I am grateful for the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally through this journey.

I wanted to be a teacher my whole life, and after graduating from this program, I achieved that goal. Now, it is a pleasure and privilege to prepare new teachers who have the same intention—to inspire, motivate, and support young people in education every day.
