Hear It From Our Students

During orientation week of my first year, I was astonished by how many activities and clubs are at LVC. I have had the chance to be a part of so many impactful activities around campus including Team FTK, Let’s Be Real Student Worship, as well as the multitude of service opportunities. These activities bring the student body together and increase awareness and support for these programs.

I knew I was a student first, but having the opportunity to play basketball, be a member of clubs such as Cause for Paws and Colleges Against Cancer, work as a tutor, writing mentor, study pod leader, first-year mentor, and participate in volunteerism were huge for me. While the opportunity to be involved is present at a lot of smaller schools, I feel LVC truly values and encourages students to be involved in a variety of disciplines around campus, building a tight-knit community.

What I enjoy most about LVC student life is that it isn’t limited by your major. I was able to perform in both the College and Concert Choirs we have on campus and be an advocate for my student body on various committees and student government as Class President, all while pursuing my career goal of obtaining an accounting degree.
