LVC’s Exercise Science program is CAAHEP-accredited and grounded in evidence-based practice, led by faculty who are experts in helping patients with exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, and obesity and chronic disease. You can also take your interest in exercise science beyond academics by joining one of our club sports teams or the Exercise Science Club, which provides networking opportunities, hands-on learning, and professional development. Need-based departmental scholarships are available.
Students may obtain a Strength and Conditioning Specialization along with any Exercise Science major track.
Take Your Passion Abroad
Studying exercise science abroad lets you see how people train, move, and stay healthy all over the world. Whether you’re learning new fitness techniques, exploring outdoor adventure programs, or discovering how culture shapes wellness, you’ll come home with fresh ideas and a whole new way of looking at the human body in motion.
Graduates of LVC’s Exercise Science program are well-prepared to enter a wide range of professional roles that combine scientific knowledge with real-world application. Whether your passion lies in kinesiology, sport science, rehabilitation, or health promotion, you’ll have the skills and credentials to pursue meaningful work in both clinical and non-clinical settings.
With hands-on training, mentoring from practicing clinicians, and a curriculum grounded in exercise physiology and human performance, our students launch careers in fitness and wellness coaching, therapeutic support, and allied health professions—or continue to our graduate level courses to further specialize.
