Part-time Counselor
The office of Counseling Services at Lebanon Valley College is seeking applicants for a part-time counselor to begin as soon as possible. The position will support up to 20 hrs./week during the academic year. The counselor provides a full range of clinical activities including individual, couples, and group therapy with specialty areas to include (not limited to) anxiety, depression, trauma, or addictions. Experience working with college students from the LGBTQ+ and ALANA communities is also desirable. The counselor will conduct initial assessments, provide short term/single session therapy, crisis intervention, and on-call coverage on a rotating basis. They will develop and facilitate outreach programs and provide consultation to the college community on a variety of mental health and wellness related issues. The successful candidate will hold a masters or doctoral degree in counseling or clinical psychology, clinical social work, or related field and be Pennsylvania licensed or license-eligible in mental health. Experience in counseling within a college counseling center with a diverse student population is highly desirable. Knowledge of and experience with brief mental health models, policies and procedures related to the field of psychology and counseling, ability to work in a team environment required. Director of Graduate and Professional Studies
The Lebanon Valley College Office of Graduate and Professional Studies is seeking a director of graduate and professional studies. The director of graduate and professional studies is responsible for the strategic management of enrollment processes for a diverse portfolio of graduate programs. Responsibilities also include setting the GPS enrollment strategy, communicating and engaging with internal and external constituency groups, actively collaborating with academic program directors, and providing oversight of all GPS recruitment and enrollment support activities. The director of GPS manages the LVC GPS brand, builds relationships, and develops on- and off-campus programming designed to recruit, admit, yield, and retain students for each program in order to meet institutional enrollment goals. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree or related work experience is preferred, experience in graduate admissions, experience in graduate admissions communication and marketing, demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service to a diverse array of customers, willingness to work a varied schedule and travel primarily in and around Pennsylvania, a valid driver’s license, experience with Salesforce, and an understanding of NAGAP best practices. The director should be a self-starter who continually strives to improve processes, communication, and team effectiveness and thrives in a data-oriented and analytical environment that has a high level of individual and team accountability. Videographer / Photographer
Lebanon Valley College’s Department of Marketing & Communications has an opening for a videographer / photographer. Reporting to the director of marketing, the videographer / photographer is primarily responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and producing video and photography to inspire and engage admission and advancement audiences—especially through evocative storytelling. The videographer / photographer is highly skilled and professionally trained in video production and editing, photography, and drone usage. The successful candidate is proactive in identifying opportunities for storytelling, adept at crafting storyboards and narratives, and has advanced experience with the technology, software, and equipment needed to create high-production-value content. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years’ experience producing high-quality professional photography and video content. Some weekend / holiday availability is required. Associate Director of Athletic Communications
The Lebanon Valley College Office of Marketing and Communications seeks an associate director of athletic communications. The associate director provides sports information and athletics communications for Lebanon Valley College’s DIII teams. Part of a highly collaborative, centralized strategic marketing & communications team, the associate director works closely with athletics administrative leadership, coaches, and students to create high-quality, engaging communications that further the College’s brand and create a record of athletes’ accomplishments and legacy at the College. With 26 intercollegiate athletic teams and 40 percent of undergraduates being DIII student-athletes, sports information and athletic communications play a crucial role in the College’s recruitment, fundraising, and alumni engagement successes. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and relevant experience, preferably in a higher education setting, knowledge of relevant software, including Statcrew, NCAA LiveStats, and Adobe Creative Suite, Premier Pro preferred, familiarity with live-streaming software (BlueFrame Production Truck preferred), literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and all social media platforms, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across divisions and departments. Also required is the ability to work primarily evenings and weekends. This is a full time 10-month position that works August 1st through May 31st annually. Housekeeper
Lebanon Valley College’s Department of Facilities Services has openings for housekeepers. The full-time hourly rate is $15.00 per hour and includes 9 paid holidays, 3 weeks’ vacation, plus the week between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, 10 sick days, 100% college undergraduate tuition benefits for the employee and their dependents, and a 9% retirement contribution if the employee contributes 5% of their gross base salary. Housekeepers at the College maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition and use a variety of equipment to maintain the proper quality of cleanliness. This position requires standing, bending, stretching, stooping, lifting, extensive walking, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis, and the ability to climb a step ladder. Candidates must be dependable, reliable and able to work in a high energy, team-oriented environment. High school diploma or equivalency is required and housekeeping / custodial experience is preferred.
