Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (B.S.C)

This bachelor’s in Chemistry leads to a degree certified by the American Chemical Society (ACS). It’s strong preparation for graduate study in chemistry or a career as a professional chemist in the chemical industry, government, or medical research.

With this ACS certification, you’ll get in-depth knowledge of the field and learn to think creatively, solve complex problems, and perform detailed analyses. Early on, you’ll put theory into practice through internships and hands-on applications using cutting-edge equipment in the state-of-the-art Neidig-Garber Science Center. You will also have the opportunity to conduct research side-by-side with professors.

Recent graduates have gone on to work for the National Institutes of Health, Nestle Purina PetCare, and Lancaster Laboratories. Others have pursued advanced degrees at Johns Hopkins University, Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania, Penn State University, and the University of California at Berkeley.
