“On Belonging” Series: Trans Day of Visibility

Tuesday, March 26 | 11 a.m. | Bishop Library Atrium

The event will include:

  • Presentation on Trans Representation, Advocacy, and Allyship by Annesha Edwards-Carter, Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging
  • Advocacy and Legislation Updates by Naiymah Sanchez, Senior Organizer at ACLU Pennsylvania
  • “On Belonging” trans panel—Panelists will share what belonging means to them, where they have truly felt accepted authentically as themselves, and those moments of tension where belonging was not to be and how they navigated those moments.

The event is sponsored by the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging, the Committee for Inclusive & Intercultural Learning, Freedom Rings, and College Progressives.
