Three New AI Career Tools Helping LVC Students Prepare for Success
At Lebanon Valley College, the Edward and Lynn Breen Center for Career and Professional Development helps students turn academic learning into meaningful career success. Through personalized guidance and innovative technology, the Breen Center provides every Dutchman with the tools, confidence, and experience needed to thrive in today’s competitive professional world.
Now, LVC students can take advantage of a new suite of AI-powered career tools designed to make preparation easier, smarter, and more effective—available anytime through Handshake or the Breen Center Website.
1. Resume AI: Build a Standout Resume
A well-crafted resume is the first step toward opportunity. Resume AI offers instant, personalized feedback to help students polish their resumes for internships, graduate school, or the job market. After uploading a draft, students receive quick guidance on structure, phrasing, and formatting—ensuring their first impression stands out.
2. Interview AI: Practice Makes Professional
Interviews can be nerve-wracking, but Interview AI helps students prepare with confidence. This virtual interview simulator asks real employer-style questions and provides immediate feedback on clarity, pacing, and delivery. Students can record, review, and improve their responses—gaining comfort before the real thing.
3. Practice AI: Strengthen Real-World Skills
Practice AI helps students refine essential communication and networking skills through guided scenarios. Whether introducing themselves at a career fair or practicing a professional elevator pitch, students can strengthen their ability to connect authentically in professional settings.
