Wig & Buckle Presents The Prom

Inspired by an incident in Mississippi in 2010, The Prom follows Emma, a high school lesbian whose school cancels prom in order to keep her from attending with her girlfriend. A group of struggling Broadway stars, desperate to restore their reputation, travel to Edgewater, Indiana, with the mission of intimidating the PTA to reinstate prom.

The flashy show explores themes of acceptance, inspiration, and fame. With campy characters and heartfelt moments, The Prom is a feel-good musical reminding audiences of the importance of loving one another and loving ourselves through tough experiences like coming out.

Tickets are free for LVC students.
