Kwanzaa Celebration

Zimmerman Recital Hall

Join us for a Kwanzaa celebration honoring community, reflection, and the shared principles that strengthen our academic and co-curricular environment. Kwanzaa, observed from December 26 to January 1, celebrates African and African American heritage and the seven guiding principles known as the Nguzo Saba: unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith.

The gathering will include a brief program highlighting the meaning of Kwanzaa, followed by refreshments and an opportunity to connect with staff and students in a spirit of community.

This event is proudly sponsored by the Black Student Union (BSU) and Culture, Community, and Belonging (CCB).
