Crossing the Line: Finding America in the Borderlands
Sarah Towle is a London-based international educator and author of the award-winning new book CROSSING THE LINE: FINDING AMERICA IN THE BORDERLANDS. In her book talk for the Global Conversation Hour, Sarah will discuss how the US immigration system — the deterrence to detention to deportation pipeline — is failing us all. Called “A powerful exposé of the human costs of America’s immigration policies,” by Kirkus Reviews, CROSSING THE LINE launched to raves from filmmaker Ken Burns, Pulitzer-Prize-winning author Toluse Olorunnipa, former Boston Globe Spotlight editor Scott Allen, and many others.
