Opening Reception: “The Agrarian Year” by Michael Allen

Oct 30, 2026, 5 pm – 7 pm

Zimmerman Recital Hall

Join us for an opening reception for The Agrarian Year: Paintings and Drawings of the Lebanon Valley by Michael Allen.

The Agrarian Year features work by Central Pennsylvania artist Michael Allen. For the past 12 years Allen has painted the southern Lebanon County landscape highlighting, not only the relationship between nature and development in his surrounding rural community, but also the seasonal variations of that relationship. Allen’s paintings and drawings, executed en plein air and in the studio, become a visual interpretation of the growing, harvesting, and dormant seasons of the agricultural year.

Music and light refreshments will be provided.
