How do I make my gift?

Is my online gift secure?

Absolutely. Our website security is managed by Blackbaud Net Community, a Level One Service Provider by a Qualified Security Assessor authorized by the PCI Security Standards Council.

What is The Valley Fund?

The Valley Fund is LVC's annual fund, which supports the College's greatest and most immediate needs, including scholarships and financial aid, faculty and academic support, student life, and campus enhancements. Virtually every aspect of life and learning at LVC is impacted by gifts made to The Valley Fund.

When does The Valley Fund ask for support?

We ask for support of The Valley Fund on an annual basis in conjunction with the College's fiscal year, which is July 1 to June 30.

Will my gift make a difference?

Yes! Your support of LVC has a direct impact on scholarships, technology, athletics, and other resources for our students. Gifts of all sizes are encouraged and appreciated.

How will my gift be recognized?

You will receive an official receipt for tax purposes and all donors to the College are recognized in the annual President's Report.

Will my gifts to LVC be tax deductible?

Yes. Lebanon Valley College is a tax-exempt public charity (501(c)(3) as defined by the Internal Revenue Service. Your gift to LVC qualifies as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes as permitted by law. However, if your contribution entitles you to merchandise, goods, or services, including a round of golf, an LVC t-shirt, or a season pass to athletic contests, the fair market value of the benefit received is deducted from your charitable gift amount. An official receipt is issued for tax purposes on all gifts received by the College.

How does the matching gift program work?

Contact your human resources office or visit our online matching gift directory to see if your or your spouse's employer matches charitable gifts to LVC. If so, they can provide you with the necessary form or procedure for initiating the matching gift process. Yes. You will receive credit for all gifts received from you, your employer, or your spouse's employer.
