Welcome to Black History Month! This observance began at Kent State University in 1970 and became federally recognized in 1976. Throughout the month, LVC will celebrate and engage in dialogue around Black identities and Black health and wellness.

Merging the steps and strolls created and still practiced by Black Greek-letter organizations with the sounds of AfroBeats and popular music, Step Afrika! 101 fuses explosive footwork, vibrant choreography, and contemporary African movement into an incredible, unique campus experience.
