The Lebanon Valley Educational Partnership (LVEP)

Investing in Our Future

In 1989, a group of community leaders established the Lebanon Valley Education Partnership between Lebanon Valley College and the Lebanon School District. The goal of the partnership is to encourage students in the city of Lebanon to study, stay in school, and aspire to attend college.

LVEP features a unique mentorship program focused on the idea of further education and a clear path to get there, as well as skills and concepts that will help these students succeed throughout life. Each year, a new group of rising 8th graders are invited to join the program—students who are academically talented in the face of economic hardship. And each year, Lebanon Valley College awards several scholarships to students who meet the admission criteria and choose to enroll at LVC, making the cost of their education virtually tuition-free.

Since the Lebanon Valley Education Partnership began yielding high school graduates in 1996, it has experienced impressive success each year. We need your help to continue our growth. June 23, 2023

Sixty-eight LVEP students have graduated with their bachelor’s degree from LVC—at no cost to the student—since 2000. This is thanks in part to private charitable support and the annual Achievement Challenge Golf Tournament, supported by local businesses and volunteer leaders.
