College Level Examination Program (CLEP) Policy
Effective August 1, 2003, LVC has accepted the recommendations of the American Council on Education regarding the awarding of credit for CLEP examinations.
Students may earn a maximum of 30 credits toward a bachelor’s degree through nontraditional means (advanced placement, challenge exams, CLEP, and credit for life experience).
The following chart indicates the recommended score and credit awards for computer-based testing and LVC’s equivalent courses.
