I started playing drums at the age of five and started studying formerly soon after. In 1983, I attended West Chester University and started my recording and touring career as well, which now spans over 40 decades. I relocated to Osaka, Japan in 2006. While in Japan, I signed on with drum manufacturer Sakae Drums as an endorsee, became Jazz drum instructor at the Azul Jazz Academy, was awarded Kansai Music Conference Jazz Musician of the year (2011) and became a first call session drummer. I came back to the United States in 2012 and continue to record and occasionally tour.
