
Can Bahadır Yüce
Assistant Professor of History
Dr. Can Bahadır Yüce teaches courses on World History, the Modern Middle East, and the History of Political Thought. He received his M.A. from the University of Virginia and his Ph.D. from Indiana University Bloomington. Previously, he taught at Butler University and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. His research explores the cultural and intellectual history of the modern Middle East, with a focus on Turkey, where he also worked as a journalist. He is also a poet, and his most recent collection was published in 2022.
