Transfer Student Admission

Transfer Made Simple

Your hard work has brought you this far—now let us help you go further. At LVC, you’ll find flexible transfer options, guaranteed scholarships, and a supportive community ready to welcome you.

1. Why Transfer to LVC?

At Lebanon Valley College, we make transferring simple and supportive. You’ll get personalized guidance, generous transfer scholarships up to $36,000, and the flexibility to bring up to 90 credits with you. Here, you won’t just continue your education—you’ll belong to a community invested in your success.

Up to $36K
All admitted transfers are guaranteed a scholarship ranging from $30,000–$36,000.
Up to 90 credits
We’ll accept up to 90 credits toward your LVC bachelor’s degree.

2. What scholarships are available?

All admitted transfer students are automatically considered for generous merit-based scholarships—no extra forms required. Awards are based on your college GPA, and Phi Theta Kappa members may qualify for our highest scholarship of $36,000 per year.

HACC students can take up to four free courses at LVC through a special dual admission program, and students from one of our community college partners (HACC, LCCC, MCCC, or RACC) can apply to be considered for a full-tuition scholarship.

Need more financial support? We also offer:

  • Need-based aid—just file your FAFSA using LVC’s school code 003288.
  • Access to state and federal grants.

3. How do I get a transfer credit evaluation?

We make it easy to understand how your previous coursework fits into your LVC degree. Before you even apply, you can request a free preliminary transfer credit evaluation—no commitment required.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Transfer up to 90 credits from an accredited institution.
  • If you’ve earned an associate degree (AA/AS), at least 60 credits are guaranteed to transfer.
  • Use our Transfer Evaluation System (TES)* to see how your classes may count.

*TES reflects historical transfer data. Transfer credit evaluation is subject to change through the official credit evaluation process. Don’t see your institution? Request a preliminary transfer credit evaluation.

4. How do I apply?

Our transfer application is free, simple, and reviewed on a rolling basis—meaning faster decisions for you. No minimum transfer credits are required.

What You’ll Need:

  • Completed online LVC application. (Use your personal email address to be sure to receive our messages.)
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. (Request these directly from your school’s Registrar’s Office.)
  • A College Record Form for each institution attended.
  • An official high school or homeschool transcript. (Unless you have earned an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree)
  • Transfer Mid-Term Report. (If you have not yet completed one semester at an institution)

All required documents can be sent to admission@lvc.edu.

Program-Specific Requirements:

  • Early Childhood or Special Education: minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Music/Music-related majors require an audition.
  • Nursing transfers must have:
    • 3.0 cumulative GPA
    • 3 credits in Psychology

In Their Words

Transferring to LVC has been such a meaningful step for me. From the beginning, I was looking for a place where I could feel supported both academically and personally—and LVC has truly delivered on that. The sense of community here has helped me grow in ways I never expected.
Maggie McAteer ’28, Business Administration, Transfer
When I visited LVC, right away my experience felt very different from any other college tour I had been on. I was expecting a tour similar to the tours I had been on before where you get lumped into a large crowd of students to briefly view the campus and its professors. Instead, my tour of LVC was incredibly personal, and for the first time, it made me feel like a college was genuinely interested in what I could offer as a student.
Olivia Tassou ’26, Psychology, Transfer
I transferred to LVC from Lehigh Carbon Community College after earning my associate’s in communications. Only an hour away from home and hosting a student body smaller than my high school, I easily said “yes” to the quaint charm of LVC’s campus. In just two years of attending LVC, I felt so connected to my professors, advisors, peers, and the rest of campus staff.
