Athletic Training Admission for First-Year Students

Admission and Application Information for First-year Undergraduate Students

First-year undergraduate students apply to Lebanon Valley College by submitting either the Common Application or the LVC Application and other required materials for admission to the College. On the application, students must indicate Athletic Training as their intended major. Acceptance into the College is a prerequisite for acceptance into the accelerated 3+2 athletic training program. Once students are admitted into the 3+2 athletic training program, various requirements must be completed to be officially admitted into the professional phase athletic training program. These requirements can be found in the Athletic Training Student Handbook. Conditional acceptance into the professional phase of the program will be communicated shortly after 3rd year spring semester mid-term grades are made available. Pending completion of the semester and final grades, official admission will be announced. The professional phase of the program begins the Monday after LVC spring semester graduation. On that Monday, an orientation will take place and the first professional phase summer courses will begin that week.

Applicants accepted into the Athletic Training Program will be students of the highest academic quality based on high school GPA and class rank. SAT or ACT scores are strongly encouraged for admission. Applications are reviewed on a rolling admission basis.
