Edward E. Beck has spent over 40 years honing his leadership skills in the military, the public, and the private sectors. He has experience in operations, logistics, healthcare, and government. He is the co-owner and managing partner of Beck and Associates Consulting, LLC, a management and leadership consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, problem-solving and decision-making, leadership development, and executive communication. He is also an adjunct instructor in the Lebanon Valley College MBA program, where he teaches Strategic Management, Executive Decision-making, and Project Management. He has served as President of a start-up technology company developing robotic therapy animals for use in long-term care facilities and as the Chief Operating Officer for the PA State Veterans Homes. He is a trainer and executive coach for Dale Carnegie.
A retired U.S. Army veteran, he served 31 years and reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was awarded the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, and three Meritorious Service Medals and served in Iraq, Kosovo, and Germany.
Ed is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute. He holds an M.A. in Defense Management from the American Public University System and a B.S. in Secondary Education/Communications from Millersville University. He is all but dissertation (ABD) in the Doctor of Education program through Northcentral University, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
