Julie Denniston

Julie Denniston is LVC’s dedicated Transfer Student Advisor, guiding students from a wide range of colleges and backgrounds through every step of their journey to Lebanon Valley College. Each semester, she meets one-on-one with transfer students to map out their goals and chart a clear path forward, so the move to a new institution feels seamless rather than stressful.

A retired basketball coach at both the high school and college levels, Julie brings a coach mindset to advising: she meets students where they are, builds a game plan, and stays in their corner until they reach the goal. As a consistent point of contact and advocate, she helps students navigate the transition with confidence, plan ahead for their bachelor’s degree, and feel like they belong at LVC long before they arrive on campus. Whether a student is transferring from a community college, coming from another four-year institution, or returning to finish a degree, Julie is there to answer questions, remove roadblocks, and keep them on track toward graduation and beyond.

Off campus, Julie is a mom to three grown sons and stays active walking, working out and playing pickleball and following the professional tennis tour, though you’re just as likely to find her relaxing on the beaches of North Carolina.
