Professor Robert Leonard shares a wealth of professional and academic experience with his undergraduate and graduate students, including from his time in the banking and defense industries and years teaching at Ohio State University and Northeast Missouri State University.

Former decade-long chair of LVC’s Department of Business and Economics and Chair of the MBA Committee, Professor Leonard is the Founder and President of the Executive Development Institute, a nationwide nonprofit corporation specializing in management development programs for nonprofit organizations.

Professor Leonard is best known by his current and past students for his leadership of the College’s Strategic Management capstone, which includes participation in the international Business Strategy Game simulation. Through the years, his mentorship and teaching has guided numerous LVC students to top ten placements globally, including several top five performances.
