Internships are available for qualified students who are interested in gaining career experience prior to graduation. The internships may be one or two semesters in length and vary from one to three credits per semester.
During the past five years, majors within the Biology Department have served as interns in:

- environmental education
- environmental management
- medical research
- veterinary medicine
- physical therapy
- plant breeding
- water quality control
Other internships may be arranged according to a student’s area of interest. Besides gaining valuable experience in the field, students have developed clearer career goals and/or potential areas of employment as a result of their internships.
