A degree in psychology opens the door to a lifetime of fulfilling work, whether you choose to pursue clinical practice or put your broad set of skills to use in business or public service.

LVC’s program covers everything from the principles of psychology to behavioral genetics, and includes extensive practical experience through labs, student-faculty research, and for-credit internships. Want to keep studying? LVC offers a range of related master’s-degree programs, including Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration.

Gain an in-depth understanding of human experience while learning from experts in behavioral genetics, the psychology of gender, neuroscience, emotional regulation, and cognitive, clinical, and developmental psychology. Pursue an independent research project or gain career experience through an internship. Opt to go straight through to a master’s in clinical mental health counseling through our 3+2 program.

Faculty-Student Research

Stand out in graduate school or with potential employers by conducting research in an area you’re passionate about. With mentorship from faculty, our previous students have conducted research in fascinating areas, including infant vocalization in LVC’s Baby Lab, the relationship between genetics and peer pressure susceptibility, and pseudoscience and decision making.

For-Credit Internships

Our for-credit internship program includes partnerships with Harrisburg State Hospital, Domestic Violence Intervention, Sexual Assault Resource & Counseling Center, Quittie Glen Center for Mental Health, Lebanon City School District, and more.
