Nursing

Few careers are as satisfying, challenging, and in-demand as nursing. Through Lebanon Valley College's bachelor of science in nursing degree (BSN) program, you'll get the training to think like a nurse and pursue RN licensure. That means learning to make evidence-based clinical judgments regarding patient care and advocating for the unique needs of patients and their families.

LVC’s nursing program combines in-depth technical and scientific studies with the humanities and social sciences courses so you can build the soft skills that define the best nurses.

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at Lebanon Valley College is pursuing initial accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org). Applying for accreditation does not guarantee that accreditation will be granted. For any public comments, please send to: http://www.ccneaccreditation.org.

In Their Words

LVC’s Nursing Program has dedicated professors who guide their students to success. The program is rich in knowledge but welcoming to all while promoting healthy learning. Many professors take the time to ensure their students understand the material. All want to see their students succeed and become flourishing nurses.
Anna Tokle ’24, Valley Blue Coat, Equity Representative
I look forward to creating a suite of nursing programs, including accelerated options, so we can graduate nurses at all levels to help meet the region’s and country’s nursing shortage, and to make an impact throughout their communities.
Dr. Colleen Marshall, founding chair and associate professor of nursing
The most rewarding part of being a nurse is seeing patients leave the ICU. When parents trust you enough to leave their child in your care, or when they share moments of their child’s life with you, it is a feeling like no other.
