We operate four recording studios including two multitrack facilities, a mastering suite, and an experimental sound/composition lab. Acoustic design is by internationally regarded John Storyk of Walters-Storyk Design Group.
Studio A features an Audient 8024 large-format console with integrated Pro Tools control, Avid Pro Tools HDX 24-channel recording system, and a large selection of outboard processors by Drawmer, Urei, Universal Audio, Manley, Avalon, Lexicon, Focusrite, etc. Microphones include Neumann, AKG, Royer, Earthworks, Sennheiser, Shure, AEA, and many others.
Studio B is our classroom studio featuring a Toft ATB-24 console, Pro Tools 24-track recording, various signal processors and microphones.
Studio C is our mastering suite. Specialized mastering hardware and software includes the Waves Mastering bundle, a really awesome Alta Moda Unicomp analog compressor, Universal Audio software processors, Sequoia mastering software, FabFilter EQs and compressor plugins, TC Electronics Finalizer Express, and a sweet sounding Qure tube EQ. Our Mastering Audio class meets here, and all student mixing projects and department recitals receive their final tweaks before distribution.
The experimental sound lab is used for electronic music exploration, circuit bending, and other creative ways of making music.

We use a variety of software, but we especially want to recognize McDSP for the gracious use of their signal processing plug-ins.
