Master of Music Education

The mission of the Master of Music Education (MME) Program is to inspire educators with ideas, technologies, and techniques that can be immediately applied in the music classroom. The MME Program provides the PDE required Instructional Level II certification credits for SAS and inclusive classrooms, and degree options include a 30-hour thesis track and a 36-hour non-thesis track. MME coursework takes place year-round---online during the academic year and in on-site and blended formats during the summer. LVC also offers a generous transfer policy. With careful planning, degrees can be completed in three years.

Summer courses are offered in one or two weeks sessions. This complements your work schedule and gives you the opportunity to think about and reflect on your work in a way you couldn't during the school year. LVC faculty have extensive music education expertise. What's more, each summer a nationally known professional in the field of music education comes to campus as a visiting faculty member.
