The health services staff is available to meet the ordinary medical needs of all full-time students and to provide emergency medical care for the College community. Appointments are available with registered nurses and advanced providers as needed.<\/p>\n

Students should call 717-867-6232 or ext. 6232, or complete this form.<\/a> Appointments are scheduled Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for evaluation and triage. Contact your resident assistant (RA), area coordinator (AC), or campus safety (ext. 6111) after hours. Call 911 for medical emergencies.<\/p>\n

Reminder: All full-time students are also required to have health insurance. Please update your health records by contacting Shroyer Health Center with any new medical issues or insurance changes.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n

The health center is open Monday\u2013Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for evaluation and triage. Our provider hours for the 2024\u201325 year are Monday, 2\u20134 p.m., Tuesday, 12\u20134 p.m., Wednesday, 1\u20133 p.m., and Friday, 2\u20134 p.m.<\/p>\n

After Hours: <\/strong>For after-hours sickness or emergencies, you should contact your resident assistant (RA), area coordinator (AC), or campus safety (ext. 6111) for immediate assistance. For medical emergencies call 911.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Nurse triage is available for non-emergency reasons Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.\u20134 p.m. by calling 717-867-6232. If you are having a medical emergency or need immediate assistance, call 911. Public Safety can also assist you with medical referrals when the health center is closed. If you want to leave a non-emergent message for a nurse, you can complete this form<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Appointments are available with our medical director, Dr. Levelle Drose-Bigatel, or with our other advanced practice providers, Arie Yoder, PA-C, or Kathryn McGraw, CRNP, FNPBC, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday. Our provider hours for the 2024\u201325 year are Monday, 2\u20134 p.m., Tuesday, 12\u20134 p.m., Wednesday, 1\u20133 p.m., and Friday, 2\u20134 p.m.<\/p>\n

TB Testing<\/strong><\/p>\n

At this time, we are currently not performing TB testing within our office.\u00a0 We are, however, able to read a TB administered from another practice. We recommend you have a TB placed on either a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday so that it can be read in our office within 48-72 hours.\u00a0 If you are unable to have a PPD or TB skin test, our PSH providers can order bloodwork or chest x-ray to complete your TB testing requirements.<\/p>\n

Physical<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are able to provide the following for physical exams: medical history review, vital signs, immunization verification, vision testing, and physical exam. We are NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE HEARING TESTS at Shroyer. If your physical requires a hearing test you should schedule this with your primary care physician.<\/p>\n

All students are required to have a health record completed by their family physician as a requirement to be officially registered for classes and to participate in intercollegiate athletics. All health records are confidential and only health center staff has access to them. New student health forms are due July 1 for the fall semester and Jan. 3 for the spring semester.<\/p>\n
