This is your electronic signature, allowing you and your parent to sign and submit the FAFSA electronically. We recommend applying for it three days prior to filing the FAFSA.<\/li>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\"><a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-gc-link=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/\">File the FAFSA here<\/a>. Remember: this is a FREE form so you should never pay to complete it. LVC&#8217;s federal school code is <strong>003288<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What to know about filing for aid:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\">Undergraduate Pennsylvania residents filing the FAFSA on or before <strong>May 1<\/strong> are automatically considered for a state grant. Residents of other states should contact their state grant agency for procedures to determine eligibility.<\/li>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\">Students whose FAFSA is selected by the federal government or the institution to undergo an additional process called Verification will be asked to complete additional paperwork (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lvc.edu\/admission-aid\/financial-aid-costs\/eligibility\/fafsa-verification\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-gc-link=\"https:\/\/www.lvc.edu\/admission-aid\/tuition-financial-aid\/eligibility-requirements\/fafsa-verification-policy\/\">refer to LVC&#8217;s Verification Policy here<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\">Assets are reported on the FAFSA as of the day that you file the FAFSA. No changes should be made unless the original amount reported was in error. The deadline to apply for summer aid is\u00a0<strong>Monday, August 10, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, you must file the 2026-2027 FAFSA and complete Verification, if selected, to receive financial aid for Summer 2026. The FAFSA can be filed at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>studentaid.gov<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Summer is a separate term and billed separately from fall and spring. Summer charges must be paid by the due date listed on your summer statement of account from the Business Office. The total number of credits you are taking throughout the summer are added together to determine if you are a full-time or part-time student for the purpose of billing and financial aid eligibility. The timeline below begins with October of a student\u2019s senior year of high school and continues through the first year of enrollment at LVC. The calendar continues through the cycle for returning students.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>October of Senior Year of High School<\/h5>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply to Lebanon Valley College. You will have your decision within two-to-three weeks.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the FAFSA.\u00a0<strong>The IRS Direct Data Exchange tool automatically imports your tax information.<\/strong>\u00a0List LVC as one of the institutions to receive your FAFSA. Our school code is 003288.<\/li>\n<li>Students whose FAFSA is selected by the federal government to complete a process called Verification will be required to submit additional documents to the Financial Aid Office.<\/li>\n<li>Begin searching for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lvc.edu\/admission-aid\/financial-aid-costs\/scholarships-grants\/outside-scholarships\/\">outside scholarships<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 visit your high school guidance office, search the Internet, and visit a library for information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>December<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>You will receive a financial aid offer once you are accepted to LVC and have completed your FAFSA.<\/li>\n<li>The Financial Aid Office will begin mailing aid offers for new students the first week in December and continue on a rolling basis thereafter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>March<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>The FAFSA deadline for returning students is March 1; aid offers will be mailed in early July.<\/li>\n<li>Attend LVC Live! A program designed for accepted students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>April<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Begin the loan application process by determining which financing option is best for your family.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>May<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply for student federal direct loans, federal parent PLUS loan, or student alternative loans, if you plan to borrow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>July<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Fall bill notifications are sent to student emails from the Business Office at the beginning of July and are due at the beginning of August.<\/li>\n<li>The Financial Aid Office will send aid offers to returning full-time students in early July.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>August\u2014First Semester at LVC<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Welcome to LVC!<\/li>\n<li>Federal aid is disbursed to student accounts for the fall semester.<\/li>\n<li>Fall bills are due and need to be paid before the start of the fall semester.
