Ashley Soulé Conroy Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility: Students must be participating in a program lasting 14 weeks or longer.
Amount: Each fall or spring term, the foundation awards up to three $4,000 scholarships.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program
Eligibility: Undergraduate college students who receive a Federal Pell Grant and are planning to study or intern abroad
Amount: over 2,300 awards are granted with a maximum of $5,000 per award

David L. Boren Undergraduate Scholarship
Eligibility: Undergraduate college students who are planning to study abroad in one of the countries specified by the National Security Educational Program (NSEP); all Boren Scholars must agree to the NSEP Service Requirement
Amount: $8,000-$20,000

Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) Scholarship
Application Date: Feb. 1
Students Eligible: An undergraduate college or university student who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. They must participate in a study abroad program that is eligible for credit at the student's home institution and at least four weeks (28 days) duration in the country/countries.
Program Information/Amount of Award: FEA awards scholarships of up to $10,000 for students who plan to study abroad for a full academic year; up to $5,000 for students who plan to study abroad during the fall or spring semester; and awards that are prorated by the number of weeks in-country (with a minimum of $1,250) for students studying abroad during the summer.
Preference: FEA gives preference to students with demonstrated financial need, and strongly encourages students who represent a group that is traditionally underrepresented in education abroad. These groups include, but are not limited to First-generation students, minority students, and community college students.
Gilman-McCain Scholarship
The U.S. Department of State’s Gilman-McCain Scholarship provides awards of $5,000 for children of active duty service members to study or intern abroad. Applicants must be an undergraduate student in good academic standing who is a U.S. citizen, the recipient of any type of Title IV federal aid, and the dependent of an active-duty military member(s). Tortuga luggage company awards one $1,000 scholarship biannually for students to apply toward study abroad tuition, room, board, books, or travel.

Diversity Scholarships
Insight Into Diversity Study Abroad Scholarship For Underrepresented Students
INSIGHT Into Diversity offers a $2,000 scholarship award to five individual students from an underrepresented group based on race, ethnicity, LGBTQ or Veterans status, or possession of a physical disability.

Rainbow Sig – Rainbow Scholarship
This scholarship awards deserving lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) students who aim to participate in high-quality, rigorous education abroad programs. To be considered for the Rainbow Scholarship, applicants must self-identify on the Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) scholarship application.

Location Specific Scholarships
Butex North American Scholarships (United Kingdom)
Students who will study abroad in the U.K. for a semester or year at a BUTEX affiliated institution are eligible to apply. Each scholarship is worth £500 and will be paid once the recipient has arrived and registered at their host university.

LVC Off-Campus Study Scholarships
Captain Charles Thomas Cooper III Don Quixote Scholarship (LVC students only)
Application Date, Summer: Feb. 1
Application Date, Fall Semester: April 1
Application Date, Spring Semester: Nov. 1
Students Eligible: Financial need as determined by the applicant's FAFSA form; evidence of academic excellence; evidence of strong character and leadership. Contact the Department of Languages or Center for Global Education for additional information or to apply.
Program Information/Amount of the Award: All students are eligible to apply. The Don Quixote Scholarship will provide up to $3,500 for students to study in an LVC sponsored/supported program where French, German, or Spanish languages will be studied.
Steven J. and Wendie DiMatteo Holsinger Immersive Experience Fund (LVC students only)
Application Date: March 29
Students Eligible: DiMatteo Holsinger Funds are available to students in any major and undeclared majors. Grants are available for fall or spring semester, or summer.
Program Information/Amount of Award: Trustee Wendie DiMatteo Holsinger and her husband, Steven Holsigner, established the fund to help students with reasonable costs associated with an internship, including international internships set up by the student (contact Jill Russell at russell@lvc.edu). These funds must be used to help defray expenses associated incurred during an internship experience, and are eligible for either academic credit or non-credit experience. Students may request funding from $500-4,000 for up to six months. Visit here to learn more.
Zerbe Summer Study Abroad Scholarship (LVC students only)

Program Information/Amount of Award: Established by the late Hobson and Grace Zerbe '30, the scholarship invites students majoring or minoring in French, German, or Spanish to apply for a $3,000 scholarship annually to pursue summer courses abroad.
