The department recommends that applicants submit a portfolio of their creative or written work. While not required for admission to the Art & Visual Culture program, the portfolio will help familiarize the art faculty with your interests and strengths. In some cases, the portfolio may be used as the basis for departmental art & visual culture scholarships and advanced placement in specific courses during the first year of study. To be considered for a departmental art & visual culture scholarship, please complete your art portfolio as soon as possible after being accepted to LVC (see below for instructions).

For portfolio submission, Lebanon Valley College partners with ZeeMee, a free service that helps students bring their college applications to life. First, create a ZeeMee profile and then upload your creative works (in any medium) or your most developed writing samples. Once complete, simply copy and paste your profile link into an email and send it to the Department Chair, Dr. Grant D. Taylor ( For an example of a ZeeMee portfolio, you can access Dr. Taylor’s ZeeMee profile (search: Grant Taylor). You can also embed the same link in your Lebanon Valley College application or the Common Application.
