The applicant must fulfill the following requirements to qualify for admission to the Trauma-Informed Counseling Certificate Program:
- Complete the Lebanon Valley College graduate online application and a 500-word (maximum) essay focused on the potential benefits of the certificate program for your professional aspirations.
- Achieve a minimum college GPA of 3.00 (on a 4.0 scale); any applicants not meeting this standard will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be invited to campus for a personal interview. A final admission decision will be made after the interview.
- Submit your résumé.
- Submit your official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduation institutions attended.
- No prerequisite courses are required.
If you already have a graduate degree in counseling, the equivalent of only one of the following courses may be transferred to LVC and count toward the certificate requirements: PSY 701, PSY 804, and/or PSY 811. Certificate courses will be available soon.
