Dearest readers, 

Green Man here, long time, no see. I hope you're all having a wonderful summer because I know I am! 

It's a bit too hot for me to be running around in that suit and cape, so I've been keeping up the green fight from my command post at the super-secret Green House. If you're still hungering for sustainable/green facts and advice, I'd encourage you to keep up with me on Facebook and Twitter.com. I post facts, articles, and tips that can help you save some cash and the environment as well. You don't need to be an LVC student, staffer, alumni, or even go to college! All are welcome! 

Here's a sample fact: "It takes as much energy to make one new soda can as it does to make 20 cans out of recycled material." How about that!
