Congratulations on your reunion!
Through the years, hairstyles, music fads, and fashion trends all change, but the quality of an LVC education remains the same. A reunion is a special time to think about the impact LVC has on your life. Now you have the opportunity to provide an education to students.
In celebration of reunions being celebrated in 2010, classes are challenged to have a certain percentage of classmates contribute in honor of their reunion. When classes reach their goal, they will be treated to an exclusive complimentary reception during Alumni Weekend and celebrated for their victory. All gifts, regardless of size, received between July 1, 2009 and June 11, 2010 will count toward the competition. Visit these reunion giving pages to see your class' progress!
Meet Charlie
Hello, I am Charlie Johnson, a junior physical therapy major from Schwenksville, Pa, and I would like to share my story with you. Ever since I was 17 years old, I have been independent, working to cover all my expenses while going to high school. College was always my dream, but I didn’t know how I could afford the tuition. That didn’t stop me from visiting LVC on my own. I graduated from a small high school, and when I walked on LVC’s campus, I knew this community felt right. Knowing my situation, my high school guidance counselor co-signed the loan I needed for financial aid. My Vickroy Scholarship from LVC helps me manage my tuition, and inspires me to keep my grades up every semester.
Although I am here at LVC
years after you, I want you to know that this College is giving me the best education I could ever have. My scholarship is possible only because of alumni who support LVC. You don’t know how much that support means to me. Even if you can give only a little bit, it helps so much. I became a resident assistant because I want to help others, especially freshmen, the way so many people have helped me. For the first time, I’ve found a real home, and it is here at LVC.–Charlie Johnson '11, D'13
