Checklist to apply

1. Speak to your academic advisor about your plans to study abroad
   
   
2. Determine the most appropriate semester(s) based on your major and academic goals
   
   
3. Contact the Study Abroad office and schedule an appointment to discuss programs, courses, and costs. E-mail Jill Russell to schedule your appointment.
   
   
4. Complete the LVC Study Abroad Application.
   Your application will NOT be processed until:
   
   • We receive written approval from your academic advisor.
   • Proof of a $25.00 application deposit is submitted. Visit the Business Office to make your deposit.
   
   
   
5. Apply for a passport, or renew a passport if it will expire within 3 months AFTER your return from your study abroad program. You need to apply directly to your local passport issuing office. Information on applying for a passport can be found at http://travel.state.gov.
   You will need:
       -Proof of US citizenship (previous US passport or certified birth certificate)
       -Proof of identity (Previous US passport, Certificate of Naturalization or Citizenship, driver's license or government employee ID card)
       -2 recent, official passport photos
         Locally: CVS in Hershey
         Eckerd in Palmyra
         AAA office locations in Lebanon and Hershey
