Servants of Christ is LVC's Christian service organization. The group aims to witness to the community and campus through service. Activities include the 30-Hour Famine and Operation Christmas Child. Students of SOC dedicate the first half of their Spring Break to help build facilities for a beautiful Christian retreat center in upstate New York. Members also travel to Appalachia to donate their time and energy to building and repairing homes for low income families as part of the Appalachia Service Project (ASP).

During the 2009-2010 academic year, SOC will be held on the following Tuesdays:

Habitat for Humanity (HFH)

In 2009-2010 the Habitat chapter at LVC will help with building projects in the city of Lebanon on the following Saturday mornings:
    August 29
    October 31
    December 5
    January 18

Plans are underway for a trip to help build in HFH in the Appalachian Region over Spring Break, Sunday, February 28 to Saturday March 6. Contact Heather Howard at hrh001@lvc.edu for more information.
