Thank you for your interest in recruiting at Lebanon Valley College!  The Edward and Lynn Breen Center for Graduate Success is proud to serve current students and alumni. We welcome the opportunity to work with employers seeking to publicize employment and/or internship opportunities and employers interested in conducting employment related recruitment activities on our campus. We ask that you be aware of the Policies and Agreements Concerning Employers that govern our operation and profession, and conduct your recruiting activities accordingly. We encourage you to build an on-campus presence and connect with qualified students and graduates by participating in some of the following recruitment opportunities outlined below.

  • Our students are educated within a liberal arts framework, offering bachelor’s degrees in 40+ majors, 5 master's programs, and a doctorate, with additional graduate and professional degree options.
  • Impressive Scholars, our students continue to distinguish themselves through academic and co-curricular pursuits.
  • Multiple nominations to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll demonstrate the importance of service for our students.
  • Students are encouraged to participate in the many study abroad as well as cross and inter-cultural opportunities available to them.

Recruiting Options – Build your Brand with our students  

The Edward and Lynn Breen Center for Graduate Success hopes to work collaboratively with you to in order to build and maintain a pipeline of top talent, ensuring a positive experience. Our staff will work with you to offer and implement a variety of proven ways to effectively promote and enhance your presence and brand on campus. We encourage you to make campus connections outside of traditional career fairs and on-campus recruiting, noting that such interactions with students can have a significant impact on student learning and engagement. Take time to learn what our students’ passions are on an individual level. We believe this level of interaction will connect you to great talent. 

  • Meet with Our Staff: We are glad to meet with you individually to learn more about your company and recruitment needs.
  • Participate in Job Fairs and On-Campus Interviewing: We invite you to attend our annual consortium career fairs and on-campus industry days. We also invite you to schedule an on-campus interview visit to meet individually with qualified applicants.
    • Industry Specific Career Fairs
      • Attend Lebanon Valley College Career Fairs to network with undergraduates, graduates and alumni interested in internships and full-time employment opportunities.
    • Regional Job Fairs
      • We participate in the Central Pennsylvania Employment Consortium (CPEC) and Teacher Recruitment Day (TRD) 
  • Network with Our Students: We offer you the opportunity to meet with our students in a less formal venue, set up an information/recruiting table, offer an information session, or to be a participant in our career programming efforts that connect employers and students.
    • Mock Interviews
      • Participate in our fall or spring Mock Interview Weeks to conduct a mock interview with students and offer feedback on their performance.  Students are scheduled in advance. Career Development is not able to guarantee matching of students and industry professionals. 
    • Campus Presentations
      • Introduce students to both your industry and your specific organization, acquaint them with your organization's culture, and possibly connect them with recent Lebanon Valley College hires who are succeeding within your organization. Typically, employers conduct a 30 minute presentation, followed by 30 minutes for Q&A. 
    • Company Information Table
      • Reserve tabling space at a targeted campus location during the day to attract students’ attention on-campus and distribute information regarding your organization.
    • Student Organizations
      • Connect with active student organizations and student leaders.  We have over 90+ active professional, social, multi-cultural and special interest organizations that frequently look for program speakers and sponsors. 
    • Employer and Alumni Panels
      • Join us for Pizza with Professionals, industry-specific employer and alumni panels which are held throughout the academic year to help educate students about career paths and opportunities within industries and organizations. 
  • Access Handshake: Our online system enables you to post unlimited opportunities, receive email communications from our office, schedule interviews, and register for career fairs and events.
