Aryeh Halevy (2012) was a Criminal Justice major. During the fall semester of 2011, Aryeh went abroad to study at the London Metropolitan University in London, England where he learned a great deal about the British criminal justice perspective. Aryeh presented the paper he wrote while researching in London at the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, March 14-16, 2012 in New York City. Ari’s paper was entitled “Stopping the Violence: A Comparative Analysis of Gang/Youth Violence Prevention/Diversion Programs in the U.S. and U.K.” He was also the chair of the panel entitled: Youth Violence and Bullying. He intends to go onto to graduate school to earn advanced degrees in criminal justice so that he will be able to teach criminal justice/criminology at the college level or conduct professional research.
