Lebanon Valley College’s Community Music Institute (CMI) is now registering students for its summer Kindermusik camp and private music lessons. The institute is directed by Susan Szydlowski.
Kindermusik camps begin June 11 and are available for children ages 18 months to seven years. Camp themes include “Creatures of the Ocean,” “Confetti Days,” and “Tell Me a Tale.” The four-day camps take place in the mornings at LVC’s Blair Music Center. A full camp schedule and registration form is available on the Kindermusik website.
Private music lessons at LVC are offered for students of all ages – from elementary school beginners to advanced adults – and in nearly every instrument and vocal category. CMI offers private lessons in violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, cornet, French horn, trombone, tuba, piano, percussion, guitar, and voice. Classes and lessons are offered on a non-credit basis and are held at the College's Blair Music Center. Arrangements for lessons must be made with the director, and registration can be completed when lessons commence. The summer session includes seven lessons with a professional instructor.
