Lebanon Valley College will host country duo Love and Theft on Friday, April 25 and hip-hop artist Mike Stud on Saturday, April 26 at 8 p.m. in the Arnold Sports Center as part of the annual ValleyFest weekend. Tickets, which will be available for purchase in the spring, are $15 for students and $20 for the public. Students may purchase a combo ticket to see Love and Theft and Mike Stud for $25.

Love and Theft, which features the 2012 CMA New Artist of the Year and Vocal Duo of the Year nominees Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson, will perform Friday, April 25. According to Gunderson, the recipients of the 2013 CMT Music Duo Video of the Year “sound like brothers” when they sing and “harmonize like a church choir.” Both pastors’ sons, Liles and Gunderson testify that their experiences growing up in the church helped inform their second, self-titled studio album that features the No. 1 single “Angel Eyes,” along with several other Top 40 singles like “Runnin’ Out of Air” and “If You Ever Get Lonely.”

Michael Francis Seander Jr., better known by his stage name Mike Stud, will perform Saturday, April 26. The former relief pitch for Duke University was an All-American as a true freshman, but after an injury that required Tommy Johns surgery in 2009, he turned to music as a creative outlet during his free time. The Rhode Island native’s first single, “College Humor,” was created as a joke for his college teammates using Garage Band, but went viral after hitting the web. In 2011, his first mixtape, “A Toast to Tommy” debuted at No. 3 on the worldwide iTunes hip-hop albums chart, and his 10 million YouTube channel followers helped his first studio album “Relief,” which was released in May 2013, to reach No. 1 on the iTunes hip-hop album sales chart.

Both concerts are a part of Lebanon Valley College’s 43rd annual spring arts festival, ValleyFest, which, in addition to concerts, includes local arts and craft vendors, food vendors, children’s activities, games, and more. For additional information, visit www.lvc.edu/valleyfest
