Physical Therapy Students Host Brain Safety Awareness Fair

Lebanon Valley College physical therapy students and the Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania have teamed up to host a Brain Safety Awareness Fair on Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Arnold Sports Center of Lebanon Valley College. The fair is free and open to the public.

Children of all ages can participate in games and raffles to win prizes as well as a free helmet fitting and giveaway. The activities will focus on brain function awareness and will provide educational information about proper brain safety. Free helmets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, courtesy of the event sponsors.

This year the fair will be hosted by LVC's 5th year DPT students Lauren Baran, Katelyn Sharkey, and Sarah Shisler, and sponsored by Good Samaritan Pediatrics and the Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania (BIAPA).

Families are encouraged to attend both the Brain Safety Fair and ValleyFest, which occur simultaneously on the College's Annville campus.
