Lebanon Valley College Hosts 42nd Annual ValleyFest April 19 and 20

Lebanon Valley College will host its 42nd annual spring arts festival, ValleyFest, on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20. Community members, staff, and students are invited to join the Annville campus in the weekend festivities, which will include carnival games, arts and crafts, artisans, craft vendors, food vendors, children’s activities, and concerts.

Admission to the festival is free and open to the public. Advance tickets for the April 19 concert featuring singer Tyler Hilton with Dion Roy are $10. Doors will open at 7 p.m. in the Arnold Sports Center. Advance tickets for the April 20 concert featuring rapper and recording artist Sammy Adams are $20. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. in the Arnold Sports Center. Tickets are available to purchase online at www.lvc.edu/valleyfest.

This year’s ValleyFest weekend also marks the inauguration of the College’s 18th president, Dr. Lewis Evitts Thayne. The 4 p.m. ceremony will broadcast live at www.lvc.edu/LVCtv for online viewers.

5 p.m. Outdoor Picnic Dinner, Social Quad
8 p.m. Wig and Buckle presents "Dog Sees God," Leedy Theater, Mund College Center
8 p.m. Singer Tyler Hilton, Arnold Sports Center
11 p.m. Late Night Snacks, Dining Hall, Mund College Center

Saturday, April 20
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. ValleyFest Festival including vendors, crafters, children’s activities, food, and games, Social Quad and Sheridan Avenue
11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Day Stage Entertainment, Social Quad
11 a.m. – 5 p.m. 42nd Annual Juried Art Exhibition, Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery
2 p.m. Concert Presented by the Lebanon Valley College Alumni Chorale, Miller Chapel
6:30 p.m. Doors Open for Evening Concert, Arnold Sports Center
