The new materials used for the renovation and addition were carefully selected according to their regional availability (within 500 miles of the project) and their recycled contents. Altogether 12% of the materials were extracted and manufactured within the 500 mile radius as for example the concrete, CMU, and drywall.
The materials also have a recycled content of more than 22%. Materials that contributed to this value are for example steel, drywall, carpet, ceiling tiles, and toilet room partitions.
