The ultimate goal of this project is to create an attractive, accessible place that nurtures connection, learning, and engagement.

The College has been planning the College Center’s renovation and expansion for over two years. The $13.3 million Mund College Center renovation/addition will be implemented in four phases, with completion of the final phase scheduled for spring 2012. The College is seeking LEED-certification for the building. Spillman Farmer Architects of Bethlehem, Pa., is the designer. High Construction Company of Lancaster, Pa. is the construction manager.

The New College Center will:

support learning and development outside of the traditional classroom. more effectively serve as a gathering space for students. expand by about 20 percent --8,000 square feet-- to accommodate the larger student body, faculty and staff. mirror other new campus buildings and reflect a welcoming attitude and accessibility to all persons. serve as the first building on LVC's campus to seek LEED-certification.
