ACT 45 Course 4:
Effective Management of School Resources

Lebanon Valley College will offer Course 4: Effective Management of School Resources in fall of 2012 for school system leaders (Superintendents, IU Directors, Principals, and Assistant Principals). The course will provide:
  • 30 ACT 45 hours
  • 1.5 MBA credits towards a MBA degree with a concentration is School Leadership

Course Description:
Resources spent ineffectively reduce the resources available to provide high quality teaching and learning in the classroom. This course is designed to assist school leaders in managing school resources to create positive results by investigating systemic causes and implementing strategies for innovative change within the financial constraints of the school system. This will include cost analysis and a review of how the dynamics of a business cycle relate to school resource management.
