Offered in both the fall and the spring, the Sports Center offers progressive swim lessons and stroke clinics.

Parent/Tot
Wellness Pool
Children and parents interact with each other while learning safe swimming practices. They will also learn the foundations of independent swimming.

Learn to Swim
Wellness Pool/Main Pool
Children are introduced to skills and strokes appropriate to their ability level. Four and five year olds learn to be independent in the water (floating, kicking, breathing). Six and older learn new and refine basic strokes (freestyle, backstroke, elementary backstroke, breathing techniques, and safety skills).

Competitive Conditioning
Main Pool
Workouts help swimmers maintain competitive skills. All participants should be knowledgeable about competitive practicing. All ages welcome.

Stroke Clinic
Main Pool
Swimmers will work on improving strokes, turns, and starts. Drills and instruction will enhance swimming techniques. This is a good class for swimmers who want to improve their competitive strokes or for young people wanting to learn more about the sport of competitive swimming. All participants must be comfortable in deep water. Advance and beginner levels offered.
