Lebanon Valley College welcomes the diversity and world-view perspectives contributed by international students to the classroom and campus community. To support this objective, LVC offers grant and scholarship opportunities to prospective international students.
International Student Grant
International students (those entering the U.S. on a student visa) will receive a grant of one-third tuition. For the 2014–2015 academic year, the International Student Grant is $12,157. This grant is deducted from the student’s bill and does not need to be repaid. It is renewable and can be received for up to eight semesters. Students must make satisfactory progress toward their degree and, if placed on academic probation, must achieve a minimum semester grade point average of 2.25 in the subsequent semester.
International Student Scholarship
Scholarships of $2,000 or $3,000 may be awarded to new international students. These scholarships will be in addition to the one-third International Student Grant awarded to all international students who enroll at LVC. International Student Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis using academic performance and potential to contribute to the campus community as primary criteria. The scholarships are renewable and can be awarded for up to eight semesters as long as students maintain the following grade point average minimums:
$2,000 Scholarship—2.5 semester GPA for the first two semesters; 2.75 GPA thereafter.
$3,000 Scholarship—2.75 semester GPA for the first two semesters; 3.0 GPA thereafter.
