Summer Camp Volunteer Staff Requirements

Volunteer summer camp staff at Lebanon Valley College must complete the following background checks prior to the start of employment.  Costs incurred to obtain background checks for summer camp staff are the responsibility of each volunteer.  Background check results should be submitted to Human Resources prior to the start of employment

Required Background Checks:

1. Pennsylvania State Criminal History Record
               Fee: $10 payable to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

2. Child Abuse Report
               Fee: $10 money order, no personal checks accepted
               Forms can be obtained by schools and the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare

If summer camp staff have the above clearances from a current employer, they may provide Human Resources with those copies. Clearances not from a current employer are only valid if they are obtained within one year prior to their LVC camp start date.
