Dr. Dura has over 30 years of experience in music education. She has taught strings and general music in grades preK-8, and a wide variety of courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her previous faculty appointments have included Clarion University, University of Massachusetts Lowell, University of Connecticut, Central Connecticut State University, Texas Tech University, Illinois State University, and Northwestern University. She holds memberships in the College Music Society, MENC, ASTA/NSOA, and AOSA. Dr. Dura is a member of the Pi Kappa Lambda Honorary Music Society and an honorary member of Tau Beta Sigma (National Chapter and Delta Omicron Chapter).

Jennifer holds a concurrent MBA/MPH degree in Health Services Management from UCLA Anderson School of Management and the UCLA School of Public Health, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. She has over fourteen years of combined experience in nursing and medical practice management. She has worked in higher education for over six years as both an administrator and an instructor. Jennifer’s teaching experience has included an emphasis in the field of quality for both manufacturing and service industries. She has been at LVC since 2007 and is very familiar with the academic as well as financial needs of students, including military and veterans’ benefits.

Education: B.A., Elementary Education, Penn State University, 1995; M.A., American Studies, Penn State University, 2001.
Mary has over 14 years of direct experience in the field of education. She is a PA certified elementary school teacher, has served as an academic advisor and adjunct instructor for Eastern University’s Adult Education Program, and has worked at the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Mary now directs the Continuing Education programs for part-time undergraduate students as well as non-credit programs offered at LVC.

Susie is the support staff contact for part-time undergraduate and graduates studies. She also supports the Daniel Fox Youth Scholars Institute and the Summer Book Review Series at Cornwall Manor and Mt. Gretna. She is also an honorary member of Alpha Sigma Lambda, a national honor society for adult learners.
