Student Employment Payroll Information

In order to be paid for student employment at Lebanon Valley College:

  • Get an I-9 and W-4 form from your supervisor or from the Payroll and Benefits Administrator's Office. You only need to complete these forms one time while you are a student worker at Lebanon Valley College.

  • Complete the I-9 and W-4 and return them to the Payroll and Benefits Office located on the first floor of the Humanities Building. You must also provide photocopies of the appropriate identification, as listed on the back of the I-9 form. Most commonly used ID's are your LVC student ID or drivers license and social security card.*

  • If you are employed in an off-campus community service position, you must complete the appropriate contracts and return them to Dottie Brehm in the Financial Aid Office.

  • Get a copy of the semester pay schedule from your supervisor or from the Payroll and Benefits Office.

  • Follow your employer's instructions about keeping your time sheet.

  • Student payroll occurs monthly. You may utilize Direct Deposit of your paycheck if you have or open an account at Lebanon Valley Farmer's Bank. If you do not use this option, you may pick up your paycheck in Humanities, Room 108, on the scheduled day. You must have a photo ID such as your LVC ID or drivers license.

  • Cash your check at the Lebanon Valley Farmers Bank in Annville or utilize your own banking institution.

* International Students can work in an on-campus position if they get a social security number. For more information contact the Tchet Dorman, Director of Multicultural Affairs at 867-6165.
